About the Job
The Reimbursement Contract Specialist (RCS) supports with payor contract review and provides guidance to stakeholders on payor contract information. This requires management of internal resources pertaining to contract reimbursement information and a high level of written and oral communication. The RCS reviews payor contracts and amendments. They also provide consultation, education and training on contract requirements to Admissions and RCM teams. They also provide timely and accurate information regarding payor reimbursement methodologies, rates and policies. Additionally, the RCS manages payor contract and amendment reimbursement related reference materials and other supporting documentation on company intranet sites.
Requirements
Must have experience and thorough understanding of Payor Contracts
Reimbursement experience (RCM related)
Advanced knowledge of health insurance plans: Managed Care Organizations, PPO, POS, Self-Funded, TPAs and providers at financial risk (hospital/health systems, medical group/IPA).
Experience in creation of training material and procedures (SOPs)
Experience loading pricing or fee schedules required.
Knowledge of HIPAA, federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare providers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

$17-$23 Based on Experience
